Championship Rifle match - not too shabby
Spent all day over at Creekside shooting in the Championship Rifle match Joe hosts every year.
These matches are fun because the courses are challenging and I do not have to work as an RO at all. Anywhoo, I was shooting pretty good, with a few stages I really shot well and a few where I just ignored some targets completely. In the end I got 1st place in Heavy Irons and 4th place overall out of 58 shooters. The sponsors all bailed on Joe for some reason, but we did have one good prize worth fighting for...a 308 blackout upper. Joe took the top 8 finishers and we shot a single stage for best time...I did not win.

Great job man!
There is nothing quite like the sinking feeling you get when the RO is scoring and you realize you skipped a target.

It was more like...
"why didn't you shoot those targets?" "Those are targets?"
