Buyer / Seller User Feedback Ratings

How to leave feedback if you are a buyer / seller / trader:

1. Click on the profile link for the user you wish to leave feedback on. You can do this by clicking on the users name which will either show a menu from which you should select "VIEW PUBLIC PROFILE" or may take you directly there, depending on where you are at when you click on the users name.

2. Click the LEAVE FEEDBACK link at the bottom of the Feedback Score tab.

3. Fill out the Feedback Form:

Select if you were the Buyer / Seller or if this was a Trade deal.
Select if you are leaving Positive, Neutral or Negative Feedback
Add a public comment (Short reason you're leaving the feedback)
Thread URL - Make sure you copy / paste the link to the thread referencing the deal you're leaving feedback on here.
Add any additional comments you want to leave regarding the transaction.

That's it.

If you have any issues, questions or find something that's not working right, this thread is where they should be posted.

First thing I will be adding is a "Leave Feedback" link in the user menu (if you click the username in a post) while in marketplace that will add the url to the marketplace thread automatically to the feedback form.

But don't try to "catch up" on a bunch of old transactions or I'll get emails from the board that look like this:

Jen is there now a system in place to prevent abuse of the feedback like this example ? http://www.falfiles.com/forums/showthread.php?t=339101 I realize it happened years ago but it appears that some unhappy camper left 3 negative ratings for ONE incident which affected the other members positive percentage rating quite a bit. I know Ebay and the other auction sites have a program in place that will only allow feedback to be left once for any one transaction. Also wondering if there is built in protection against people leaving feedback when they have not done business with someone. On the FN forum they have a silly "reputation" system where guys can leave a -1 against another member for nearly any reason. "don't like his attitude -1" On the flip side popular members would get +1 ratings daily from their buddies even though they had done no business with them. Over there it was regularly abused and IIRC they finally eliminated it completely for that reason. Marketplace feedback should be ONLY for marketplace transactions and should be limited to ONE rating for each deal. Thanks

Yes, however I have those turned off right now so folks can get old feedbacks updated.

Editing User Feedback: If you accidentally leave feedback you didn't intend to leave, you should be able to edit your feedback left for 60 minutes after you leave it. Ie, you can change or remove it yourselves if you realize you made a mistake.
