7.62x51 match price?

What is the going price for 7.62x51 match ammo? I have found a guy with 100 rounds to sell but neither one of us knows its value.

What brand of Match ammo?
There is more than just one flavor.

There was a lot of that surplused out because the bullet weight varied.
A friend of mine bought a bunch of it at a gunshow and out of the same box it shoots two very tight but distinctly separate groups.
The casings I have that I know came from that batch are headstamped LC 68 on the top and Match underneath.
The lot number on one of the boxes is 12078.

W.E.G. is correct that most match ammo is a buck a round retail.
I recently bought five hundred rounds of Federal Gold Medal Match for $498.00 delivered to my door.
The exception that I've seen is the current LR round which I've seen selling for up to two bucks a round.

Exactly, the cost differential between fodder and match is shrinking.

The Privi match load was equal to some late 60s vintage LC Match in my first FAL w/ Green Mountain barrel... Both were much better than surplus.

WHERE ??
I havent seen GMM at $20. a box includung shipping in probably 10 years.

BTW, last I sold some M118 was year before last at knob Creek.
Was getting $24. a box, but droped that to $20.ea for whole can sales.
I sold out of the 5 cans I had and didnt drag any of it home.
And their was nothing "reject" about any M118 or any I've ever had or sold in the last 35 years.

Cheers, YV

Here's where I got it but it's no longer on sale.
I purchased on "Tuesday, July 17, 2012"
I missed the first sale by a day and bought it on the second sales first day.
(Wasn't going to miss it twice)
It was 499.00 delivered but I had a "reward point" that took a buck off of it.
His current regular price looks a bit higher than it was prior to him putting on it sale.
I should have bought a thousand but I just couldn't justify it.
Get on his mailing list and see if he puts it on sale again.
It seems to me it was 4-6 weeks after the first sale before he put it on sale again.

At $20. delivered thats a damn good deal.
I still have a few cases, but I'd buy more at that price.

His current price of $23. delivered is still about the cheapest I've seen in awhile, at least from people who actually have it in stock.

PSA has the FGMM ammo @ $19.99 per box. They had free delivery not too long ago and have $12 shipping pretty often. I picked up some on sale maybe 6 months ago for $17.99 a box for the 168 gr and $18.99 a box for the 175 gr.

http://palmettostatearmory.com/index...bthp-20rd.html

I put 10 boxes in my cart to check shipping to NY, $9.

Ken

I just checked the shipping on 25 boxes and it was only 18.00 to Wisconsin.
499.75 + 18.00 shipping.
That's probably the best price around for GMM at this time.
