Finally put together a faux full auto .22
1. S&W MP-15 .22
2. TIMNEY 3lb trigger 3. Slidefire stock for the AR-15 A tad over a grand all in - but it works:-) with some practice... My experience pretty much is the same: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tVho4jdk_5I |

I'll be damned. Never figured those stocks would work with so little recoil.
Is there any difference between that stock and one you'd use with a 5.56? So what did you have to practice? What's the secret to making that work? |

Same stock used on the 5.56 - watch a lot of You Tube for technic, essentially you push the rifle forward with your offhand thumb behind the mag well - you keep the stock tight into your shoulder and just let the gun run. I can get about 2/3 of a mag out in one burst and keep it in a fist sized group - on target, at 21-30 feet. IT'S LOTS of fun - and cheap to shoot:-) (after you put the rifle together).
