FAL's In Syria

Seen quite a few interesting pics lately of FAL's being used by the Free Syrian Army. Thought I would share some here:

Nice basic arsenal, several FAL's there.

Can anyone id the FAL in the background? what kind of scope is that mounted?

With carry handle in the upright position...

Israeli with a Hensoldt scope? Battlefield capture?

Interesting scope in pic #2 and wonder about the battlefield capture but the Syrians were known to leave far more behind when mixing it up with the Israelis than they collected. The freedom fighters need to hurry up and overthrow that govt. so they can sell their tired worn out FALs to American collectors for rehabilitation. Most of them look to have seen little use to this point.

FALs in Syria

I saw those in a few news clips a while back. At first I thought they may have been coming from Isreal. But now I wonder if the CIA didn't just load up the weapons they sent to Libya and send them to Syria?

They sure hang their guns on the wall by a nail. I remember Peter Kokalis said the hook on the G3 handguard was for this very purpose. People laughed at it. Kokalis is right after all.
