Gary Johnson

I heard him being interviewed on the radio yesterday. He only had limited time but in the time he had he was able to lay out his platform.
I know he's pretty much got the same platform as Ron Paul, but Johnson impressed me with his answers and his reasoning and was able to summarize his stand on the issues very well.
I'm thinking that if he does make it into the presidential debates he could clean house on both BO and Mittens.

It has been the fault of both pacifism and liberalism in the past that they have ignored the immense burden of inherited evil under which society and civilization labour and have planned an imaginary world for an impossible humanity. We must recognize that we are living in an imperfect world in which human and superhuman forces of evil are at work and so long as those forces affect the political behaviour of mankind there can be no hope of abiding peace.

From June fifth:

The Daily Show with Jon StewartMon - Thurs 11p / 10c
Gary Johnson

If Willard doesn't drop dead or withdraw before the nomination Ron Paul is way more likely to endorse Gary Johnson than he is Willard.

I think I'm pretty much set on Gary at this point. Ron Paul still has my heart, but Johnson has a lot of miles left in the engine.

He'll have to prove he's trustworthy first, but at least he isn't another puppet of the NWO.

With me it's always been the message not the messenger.
As shlomo points out, Ron Paul is a known quantity with a proven history of sticking to his guns vs Gary Johnson's two terms as a Governor. I'll wait till after the Republican convention before I make a decision. If Ron Paul endorses Johnson he'll have my vote. If he endorses Romney I will projectile vomit for the three following months. Maybe more.

Now that I think of it, though, it's good turnabout for my lack of familiarity with The Dead.

I imagine that most of the people who will vote to re-elect the Precedent have the same rationale.

I may or may not be referencing another thread in which schlomo implicated his uncanny resemblance to the greatest A.G. in the history of these United States. The puppet from the Team America movie is lacking the flavor saver.

If the flesh and blood version is half the orator of his namesake, he's got it in the bag.

No need to imagine. I've talked to a few Obama "supporters", and they don't like him. They'd prefer someone who would end the TSA gropings, undeclared wars, assassination of US citizens, indefinite detention, the PATRIOT Act, big bank and EU bailouts, etc., but they still vote for Obama because they think any Republican would be worse. It's madness.

The country will well and truly have to "Pass through the eye of a needle" in order make such a selection as he.

Feedom ain't free - you got to pitch-in yer "buck-oh-nine" of a vote to make it happen . . .

Might take a Michael Moore moment to get us off-the dime to make a decision.

Whatever . . .

I'm gonna read a sci-fi novel and listen to Bluegrass just to keep the universe in balance. I'm partial to banjo.

The only good I see with Romney is his business acumen and getting the economy back on it's feet. And that's it. But then, even that would be a short term fix, kicking the can down the road some more.

Then again, in one case, destruction is assured and with Romney the can gets kicked down the road and the destruction is slowed down some.
Our house is on fire and maybe it'll have to burn down before it's able to get rebuilt.

That Willard made money for himself is no reason to believe he can or will do anything for the economy.
