wire stock on semi m11 sbr
does anyone know if it's possible to make a cobray wire stock fit on a semi auto m11 that i plan to sbr, i know the receiver needs to be cut for the stock but in the semi auto the trigger bar is in the way and i wondered if there was a different trigger setup i could use to allow the wire stock to work, i know the stock isn't practical but this is a semi m11, not exactly practical in the first place

All things are possible, but why pay $200 to SBR a gun not worth $200? Really, a PPSH-43 or Suomi would be a much better candidate for SBR. And of course you can never un-SBR a gun. Once done it is forever meaning transferring it will be a bitch. I would sit down and think this through.

i have thought it through and i want to sbr my m11, i don't care about practicality, and i don't intend to sell it, i will use a vz58 or uzi stock if i have to, but i would rather use the factory wire stock, and please send me links to any non hesse m11s for under $200, i will buy every single one of them

Uh, you CAN "un-SBR a gun". You can "undo" it and then submit the proper paperwork to have it removed from the NFA registery.

yea, all you have to do is send them a letter saying you have changed the configuration and to remove it from the nfa registry, though i might have to put a carbine upper on it if i ever wanted to remove it, not sure if it could ever be a pistol again because of the stock, from what i've been reading it looks like it will be too involved to add the factory wire stock so i might go a different direction with this gun

Maybe the M11 is worth more in PA, but around here 200 is about it. I got rid of mine years ago and have never looked back as it was a POS in my opinion. But it is your money and your gun. Feel free to use them as you see legally fit. You do not need my blessing. |

I don't live far from PA. I just saw one at a gun shop for a little over 5. I also had one years ago and sold it. It's not much of a shooter, basically an over weight pistol, but looked very cool!
