My DSA 18" SA58 arrived today
My DSA 18" SA58 arrived today (the 24th). Ordered it July 5th. It's a stock gun except for the M249 SAW pistol grip. Green furniture. And I got a front sight adjustment tool.
I also have a Cammenga Easyloader Rel308A on order. Going thru the posts here, I wonder, has anyone ever bought a DSA FAL that was OK? |

Welcome to the files from a former NH resident. Living the good life in the Tennessee mountains now. You could very well have recieved a good one. It's human nature for guys to post about the ones that had problems. That old saying "do me right nobody knows, do me wrong the whole world hears about it". Trust me I am no fan of DSA the last couple of years just for the reason that they not only have way too many "issues" for the price they charge but their customer service leaves alot to be desired and their rep who used to post here basically told us all to FOAD and left in a huff because the administration here tends to allow free speech concerning bad vendors. Take it out & shoot it and you tell us how it works. With luck you got a great one.

Mine was fine, but I got mine in 2005.
That might make a difference..................... Mine is a 18" Para, with a scope rail top cover , other than that it is pretty much stock, and a fine shooter. ![]() Pete |

Don't believe those guys. None of them actually work o.k., they all have to be sent out to a smith that specialises in these things, hopefully you'll get it back before the end of the year. Hopefully it will 'mostly' work. If it mostly works, then bring it here for 'final' tweaking'.
I've got a DSA that works, but I'm not fallin' for it's tricks. I figger it's waitin' till I'm stuck in the last ditch to blow lunch,,,,

I bought a DS marked SA58, used, at the local fun store.
I've shot a little over 1200 rounds through it so far - and its been pretty awesome. The only thing I would ask them to do different is offer a chrome-lined or nitrided barrel. The only problem I've had with DSA stuff is their 20 round FAL magazines. Over half of them have required extensive "tweaking" to get them to cycle correctly. |

I hve one of their last stg builds (mostly with new American made parts). The only problem I had was receiver lock up but that was easily cured with help from members here and GP for sending a better receiver lock. Mine shoots great. About 3 MOA with irons if I do my part. I am sure it can get better with a better shooter
No malfunctions at all.
