Falcon Arms Two Piece forearm retainers

Will they work on inch pattern rifles?

It's basically the last part I need to put on the rifle to get it back to normal and I have no intention of removing the barrel just to get a solid ring on. So I seen that DSA had one but then I seen Falcon had the same thing for a lot less. Now I've seen the DSA two piece rings go onto an Inch rifle but is there anything different about the Falcon two piece set that will keep me from putting it on an Inch rifle?

Why don't you call and ask them, they are nice people. Will probably work.

An inch rifle has a breeching washer.. thus the inch handguard ring is round on the side surface that faces the receiver so that it can go over the washer. A metric handguard ring has straight sides that mate up to the barrel flats. You can use the two piece unit but there is a chance that you will have to file or Dremel out the two flat sections on the ring to fit over the round inch breeching washer.

That's exactly what I had to do. Just ran the dremel in there until the sides were round and it slipped right on. Good product but the finish on it is partially blue and brown. No big deal as it went on a century arms mix master.
