Smoke and Mirrors

HAPPY FATHERS DAY.........

Hold on to your pants....your taxes are going to double if this Nutcase pResident gets re-elected (God Forbid).

The lies put forth are just stunning, even more stunning is how the screwy Leftist media outlets sweep realty under the rug....... I don't know how anyone, DemoRats support this monster. I doubt Dabtl or Alant will respond to this thread. and explain the benefits of a Fed that quadruples it already massive bloated size. If you can keep from getting sick, read the whole article.

President Obama: The Biggest Government Spender In World History

http://www.forbes.com/sites/peterfer...world-history/

There is, now, a house-of-cards feel about this administration. It became apparent some weeks ago when the President talked on the stump – where else? – about an essay by a fellow who said spending growth [under Obama] is actually lower than that of previous Presidents. This was startling to a lot of people, who looked into it and found the man had left out most spending from 2009, the first year of Mr. Obama’s Presidency. People sneered: The President was deliberately using a misleading argument to paint a false picture! But you know, why would he go out there waiving an article that could immediately be debunked? Maybe because he thought it was true. That’s more alarming, isn’t it, the idea that he knows so little about the effects of his own economic program that he thinks he really is a low spender.”

What this shows most importantly is that the recognition is starting to break through to the general public regarding the President’s rhetorical strategy that I’ve have been calling Calculated Deception. The latter is deliberately using a misleading argument to paint a false picture. That has been a central Obama practice not only throughout his entire presidency, but also as the foundation of his 2008 campaign strategy, and actually throughout his whole career.

Rest assured, Ms. Noonan, that the President is not as nuts as he may seem at times. He knows very well that he is not a careful spender. His whole mission is to transform the U.S. not into a Big Government country, but a Huge Government country, because only a country run by a Huge Government can be satisfactorily controlled by superior, all wise and beneficent individuals like himself. That is why he is at minimum a Swedish socialist, if not worse. Notice, though, how far behind the times he and his weak minded supporters are, as even the Swedes have abandoned Swedish socialism as a failure.

The analysis by Internet commentator Rex Nutting on which Obama based his claim begins by telling us “What people forget (or never knew) is that the first year of every presidential term starts with a budget approved by the previous administration and Congress.” Not exactly.

Obama’s budget, in sharp contrast, proposes to increase federal taxes by nearly $2 trillion over the next 10 years above the CBO baseline. The budget projects that under Obama’s tax policies federal income tax revenues will double by 2020, federal corporate tax revenues will double by 2017, and federal payroll taxes will double by 2022.

Nonsense.
We are already broke NOW, it is mathematically impossible to do any such thing.

You post the most absurd crap.

from your OPINION article..
As Art Laffer and Steve Moore showed in the Wall Street Journal on Tuesday, President Bush began a spending spree in his term that erased most of the gains in reduced government spending as a percent of GDP achieved by the Republican Congress in the 1990s led by former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, in conjunction with President Clinton.

Didn't bother you when Bush was the Biggest Government Spender In World History, did it?

We have already printed trillions in cash, and the federal govt didn't get 4X bigger.
That was just to fill in the hole in our spending and bailout out Wall St,,,, for a while.

We have already surpassed the size of govt vs taxpayers who can sustain it. That is why we have a huge deficit.
So how would it be possible to grow govt 4X larger???
It is not.

And it is raining here.

I think Juanni is simply pointing out how dead silent this, and many boards like it, are when it comes to Empire. I personally was booted from two boards I use to haunt years ago for correctly pointing out what a farce this "war on terror" was, and that if people wanted to "protect the homeland" they needed to start with the government

I share his frustration in trying to raise concern among people that pay lip service to the Constitution when it suits there point of view, then turn a blind eye to it when the "Party" usurps it, after all it's just "a god damn piece of paper"

As we plunge head long into a new election cycle we have a choice between two Party men who's understanding of the Constitution and individual rights doesn't exist. They're both running to rule you

And the one man who's always stuck to the principals of freedom, limited government, and the rights of the individual has been cast aside like the Jew's cast off Jesus

Would YOU care to show how Obama is going to increase the the federal govt by 4x its current size.

For example there are approximately just under 3 million Federal employees now, show us just exactly how Obama will increase that to 12 million.

Show us the math, Bob.
Now is your chance to show us something of substance, instead of just your goofy opinions.

Whinny, think outside the cubicle, I'm not theorizing about the amount of employees in the Fed I refering to the scope and reach of the Feds, THE SPENDING, the debt, how it's a total clusterfuck beyond sane, the postal service had a lose of over 5 billion dollars last year. EVERYTHING the feds touch they screw up, everything. Obumbler wants more shit to screw up more taxes to spend.

Just think if they tucked away ALL the money paid by us in Social Security and didn't spend it.....Think TRILLIONS sitting there and growing.

Things we all know, some chose to ignore........

Six Ways We Can Reduce the Size and Scope of Federal and State Governments

http://www.stopthemadness.net/2012/0...e-governments/

The role of the government in our daily lives has come to the forefront of conversations and media topics, but it is not a new issue. People have been complaining about it for centuries. What’s new is the realization that it can no longer be shrugged off as another irresolvable problem that we can do nothing about. One only needs to look at what’s happening inGreeceand the rest ofEuropeto know what unchecked government spending and entitlements lead to. The assured economic destruction of that continent will migrate to all corners of the earth, including North America and the U.S. In order to ensure our economic survival we must limit government borrowing and spending, but how do we do that? Here are six ways we can reduce the size and scope of Federal and State Governments.

1. Constitution – Our founding fathers provided us with a unique form of government and a constitution to keep it in check. The difference between our constitution and those of other countries is it specifically states what the Federal government is not allowed to do. Unfortunately, this exceptional document has been abused and ignored for most of the last century. The first step in reducing the size and scope of government is to follow the constitution.

2. Downsize or eliminate departments – The biggest problem with the size of federal and state governments is the massive bureaucracy already in place. These innumerable departments and agencies all have one thing in common. In order to justify and perpetuate their existence, they must not remain stagnant, but keep growing. This problem has only gotten worse with the introduction of public employee unions. Union pressure has made it virtually impossible to downsize employees or their wages and benefits. Eliminating whole departments is sometimes the only recourse for getting the size and cost of government back to a manageable dimension.

3. Balanced budget – Common sense dictates that government should not be spending more money than it receives in revenue. A balanced budget amendment is crucial to limiting the size and scope of our federal government. All 50 states are required to balance their budgets, so why should the federal government be exempt?

4. Employee wages and benefits – Many people who work for either the federal or state governments have wages and benefits far exceeding those of similar positions in the private sector. It makes little sense for the people paying taxes to run the government to be making less than the public employees they’re supporting. Why should the people providing government services have more advantages than the people they serve? We should be able to limit the wages and benefits of public employees to those of the private sector so that working for the government is less attractive.

5. Review regulations – Between new laws and a growing bureaucracy, the sheer volume of federal and state regulations being produced year after year is astronomical. The cost in time, productivity and overhead for businesses to keep up with and comply with all these regulations is prohibitive and sometimes onerous. A periodic and thorough review of government regulations to eliminate those that are outdated and unnecessary would go a long way to limiting the size and scope of government.

6. Eliminate waste – The biggest thing these bloated government bureaucracies produce is massive amounts of waste. These agencies seem to have little desire or incentive to police themselves and are rarely held accountable for wasting the taxpayer’s dollars. Inefficiencies and downright fraud that wouldn’t be tolerated in private industry are commonplace in government administration. Eliminating or at least reducing waste would certainly help to reduce the cost of government.

Unfortunately, if any of these six things was easy to do they would have been accomplished long ago. The seemingly insurmountable task of reigning in the size and scope of government is daunting to say the least. However, the unwillingness of people to tackle this problem has only contributed to its enormity. It’s only human nature to procrastinate on difficult jobs, but further delay only exacerbates the problem. The future of our Republic and the preservation of our individual freedoms require us to act now.

Excellent quote from comments by Marvin I. Clark of Storey county NV......

The President of the United States is absolutely ignoring the Constitution of the United States of America. He is stealing power from the Congress, the Supreme Court and the States that make up the United States. He is inventing power that makes a mockery of that office. He has stated that he believes the Constitution is invalid and daily acts to reinforce this belief. He stands convicted by his own words and actions.
The Congress of the United States is absolutely ignoring the Constitution of the United States of America. They have assumed power and authority that are expressly forbidden to them in the Constitution. They do not recognize the supreme law of the land. The Congress passes laws with impunity that are clearly in contravention of the Constitution. Those who perpetrate this omission are criminal.
The Supreme Court of the United States has the task of judging that a law or legal decision is compatible with the Constitution of the United States. They are not performing their avowed duties. They ignore the stated meaning and demean the intent of the Constitution of the United States of America. In some cases they preempt the Congress and the President by manufacturing legislation from the bench. They deliberately circumvented Constitution. This is massive corruption and dishonesty. It is time the Supreme Court be held accountable for their dishonest and politically motivated decisions. It is time for the States to dismiss justices whom are deemed to be derelict in their duty.
All of the above individuals and every elected and appointed person in the United States has sworn a Holy Oath before God to uphold and defend the Constitution against ALL enemies. Those who do not honor their sworn duty have abdicated the right to their position.
Honest adherence to the Constitution is the simple solution to our deficit problems. In the process, we also help salvage our badly tattered Republic:

Yes the spending is insane, but every politician you probably ever voted for contributed to the insanity, not one ever tried to slash (yes slash not a little trim) spending yet you still keep voting for them.
So who is insane?

I just want you to back up your wild "quadruple" claims (bullsh*t) with some facts.

Is that too much to ask, before you run off and start another goofy thread?

You want me to show you the math about a claim that I never made, and do not support? I swear you people make less sense everyday.

Is there anything else I don't believe in that you want me to prove? Maybe the Loch Ness monster or bigfoot or something.

Hate to be the spoiler, but debt is not spending.

The difference between revenue minus spending is surplus if it is positive and debt is it is negative.

Although related, it is far removed from you original statement of.....
a Fed that quadruples it already massive bloated size

Anything else?

There you go with that reading comprehension issue.

I never said you did make that claim or supported it.
But since you jumped in I asked you...
Would YOU care to show how Obama is going to increase the the federal govt by 4x its current size(?)

So your answer is no, you wouldn't.

Sorry this english language stuff is all so hard.
