Just another quick +1 to Apex for the FAL parts I purchased. They were sent out the next day after I ordered and delivered the second day. Thanks you for the great service!

Add one more thumbs up for Apex!
I bought a few odds and ends a couple of weeks ago and had a completely smooth transaction.

Apex is great. I have bought quite a few small parts from them and they grade them very honestly.

I've bought many FAL parts from APEX and they are GTG. I do wish they could come on this board and offer members a little discount every now and then.

We have a school trained "Graffics Artist" on staff!
A long time back he showed me a few of the requests for "unusual" drawings!
We have been wondering where that all started as you are not the only order that made such a request.
The volume of orders we are seeing at this point in time is such that our packing benches are very busy from the moment we open until the end of the day. Somedays we don't even have time to get new product photographed & listed.
We still have a lot of material in our main warehouse to handle & sort!
The priority is getting our customer orders filled and shipped.

You're asking about the $75 barrels I guess.

It's been discussed in the past. Someone come along and correct me if I am wrong, but I believe they are Imbel.

Actually, the $175.- bbl's are what I was wondering about. I see the website says "original StG bbl's" - Kinda wondering what someone who actually bought one had to say rather than relying on the website description(even though I have been quite happy w/Apex so far - it's nice to get a "consumer report" before buying).

Thanks, jb

We only were offered the HB bipods.
We have been on the hunt for more FAL parts, and this was one product that turned up in the search.

APEX has three different metric FAL barrels available on the web site.
All were imported pre-2005 and were on guns at one time.

The $75 barrels are a mixed bunch, all having the same configuration, but not all the same make. Some of you will remember the kits from South Africa, and the variety of FAL's that there were. That is the source for these particular $75 barrels. We have sold a lot of them over the years.

The STG-58 barrels are a more recent addition.
We sold out of the first batch fairly rapidly, and it did take some time to buy all the rest.
We have listed two types, with and without gas blocks.
The warehouse people do look at the barrels when they select them, but we do not have gages for inspecting all the various used barrels that we sell.
If I had more time and less tasks we could try and sort them further into other catagories.
That is the case with just about everything we have!
Our priority is getting customer orders packed and shipped out every day.

Richard

It is good to have dreams!

We are always looking for the best product and the best price.
In a recent meeting with importers we went down the list of product we are seeking. FAL part sets were one of the inquiries, but nothing definate is available. Our suppliers are very aware of what we are seeking! We keep in constant contact.
