Ha! (Quoting for future reference)

ETA: Went to work for another 5 hours today. Here's a little what I did.

Pulled LC that needs the powder dumped.

Almost finished doing about 1k cases. Ended up with around 2k pulls and 40lbs of powder, so far.

My little work corner. That drum holds about 1k sized brass waiting for trim next week. All that
pulled LC will get trimmed also. All told over 4k pieces of brass to deal with.

Tuscan! Man you been hanging in the 'den too long, that is quite the PILE-O-FUN, you be workin' up!

If a guy wanted to come work on the .50 press(for the cause, of course), could that be arranged? I have a Kitchen Pass in the next month or so, that allows me that much travel time. I really want to go ride snow, but I have a feeling that there will be no money for that, so I might as well line up some "work"...

This is my buddy's place, and I'm sure he's making a big exception for
me even being there for long periods of time, so probably not.

Maybe if you brought the brass over, he might let me work on it before the shoot.

I was thinking to help process the batch you've shown us!

Ok, I get ya now. No, thanks for the offer but the parts that he trusts
with me are just about done. I might be priming, but he will definitely
be doing the rest on his own as it's his stuff to load and shoot. It's his
workplace so an extra body probably wouldn't fly, I'm probably a huge
exception.

He might trust quality factory surplus in 7.62x51 if one of those
happen to tag along, which is a total possibility. He has loaded stuff
that he plans on bringing already, and we will probably work on .30 cal in April.

I get the impression he's not worried about cost or having people
pay him to shoot at our gig. He is really looking forward to having
a good time doing events and meeting new people, not to say he might not take a few bucks.
I sent him PSL54Junkie's video and he agreed it looked fun and worth the trip.

Well if you "needed" to come over for "work" on the shoot, its quite
possible there could be a "delay" in production which would result in
"on call" status while fishing on the Clearwater for steelhead 1 mile away.

Just saying.

Now THAT is a smoking plan.

Snowhawk Jockey - I know I'm not in charge of your work or social calendar, but I'm booking you "unavailable" for that two days.

You're welcome.

Oh yeah. Just to see the look and smile on faces already gets
me through time spent on the lever.

Should make for an interestin' video montage this year.

No doubt about that!!

Both daughters spent a pitance of time behind Ma Duece at the Albany MG shoot year before last. Made quite an impression on both. When I mentioned tonight that they could have another chance, they both decided to come to the shoot.

So that means the whole fan damily is coming over this year!!!
I`m REALLY stoked!!!

Some of the stuff I'm doing is for Albany this year.

I know new people are coming, but lets keep the current group and families
intact and not bring a bunch of "extras" to the shoot and monopolize
the generosity of a gracious newcomer. He wants to have fun just
like the rest of us, not just sit and babysit people on his weapons.

Not to sound selfish or like an ass, but this is a guy to keep happy.
If anyone takes offense at my statements, I apologize now. I just don't
want to have 20+ extras(excluding family) show up magically because of the emma gees.

I actually know the owner of that Deuce and a half and M2 that your daughters shot @ Albany. Super cool guy, he lives just up the road from one of the ferrys that I drive.

You need not apologize, I understand completely. And you expounded your point with the utmost tact IMHO.

Now if you had called us a bunch of worthless, freeloading, douch bags, that May have been grounds for an apology.
But I know you`re not that kind of person Jason.

LOL! It's not that cool really. It's just a boat on a rope. I operate the Wheatland and Buena Vista ferries for Marion County as a fill in operator. My normal job is on the bridge maintenance crew. If you google them they should come up. They're both over the Willamette River. The Wheatland holds 9 cars, the Buena Vista 6, both up to 80,000 pounds cargo. My buddy Ray took an M-3 light tank across the Wheatland last year the lucky bastadge.

We crossed using the Wheatland Ferry about 2 months ago. I didn't even know it was there. We were on our way to my son's swim meet in Forest Grove and decided to let the GPS take us on a country stroll, it was a pleasant surprise.

Ride my motorcycle across the Buena Vista ferry three or four times a summer just to do it - and because getting from the foothills in Scio/East of I-5 over to north Benton County is great riding around Buena Vista.

And the kids beg to do it about once a summer when someone remembers it. Just kinda fun.

Wow...that really hurts me my dearest. You and I lay side by side not 8 months ago and arrived at this decision......TOGETHER! Now it appears you want to act as if you were NEVER of the 'fairer sort'?!? And...you want to try to make people like you more by actually JOKING about "that lifestyle" that we so tenderly shared?!?

I don't understand...and what's more...my heart is just that much more broken now, on TOP of the fact that what we had is....no more.

(go on funny boy...try to joke with me again)

Cool Brunop, Hey I sure am glad everyone is coming to the lake for the shoot. Kidding.
So, how is ya all?? Pluskat is in good form, I'm kinda glad to be back on here to check on things, hope everyone is having an at least bearable year so far.

If my old eye's don't get better I will be shooting shotguns, mortars and grenade launchers, this getting old sucks, had to change my shooting from right eye dominant to the left and now it is marginal, I think the macular degeneration is starting in, blue eyed folks beware, then the brown eyed folks are full of something...... but not prone to macular?

Hey Sportsnut, after looking for a whole year to the day, I found a worthwhile Rottweiler pup, been training him to a high degree, he seems to be the smartest Rott we have had. Going to call ya Bro, maybe tonight?

All FAL - Rotts are good dogs. We're only a few miles from your place this summer - you should come out for a day or two.

Hope you're good, pal.

I knew today was a good day for fishing!! Just cause I let you see my "euro" long johns, doesn't mean we had anything, beyond that, going on. And where were you when the local yokels were disparaging our good names?

Sure claim to hold dear, then keep at arms distance...

I'm trying to figure out which will grind me more: Pluskat's list, or Tat2's photos?

Can't take/don't like the response?....don't try to be funny on the playing field where you're not....proficient.

Tat2

Is that guy wearing the shades the one who helped you install a SCOPE on the AR you ran?

Hmmm....that doesn't LOOK like a daily carry pistol there....SURELY you didn't shoot THAT against a bunch of guys running stock pistols to unfairly claim the pistol prize!

Does anyone remember a certain guy saying that if we didn't do 'classes', that it would turn into an arms race and people would be 'sad'?

Remember all the people telling me I was a dumb girl or that I was just going to jack up a good time?

Well I have a message for you all - in post #25...

Hahaaah.... its a 1-3x scope and I had it set on one power. I actually think the scope slows me down on close targets like we shot. I think I could have shot it faster with an AK.... nice open sights. But the scope did allow me to actually see the orange flasher that indicated "actual" hits..... and I did have to waste time running around a tree....

Hell I almost beat my AR time with an iron sighted mans rifle (FAL) in spite of the fact that the last time I really shot the rifle was in the last FAL Shoot match a year before...... oh yeah....who won that match???

I will not even bring up Mil-Surp bolt guns.... because that's just embarassing.......

The pistol is another story..... its nice, but recoil is tough to manage.....
heck Tat2 jr beat me with my own G34...... but he has an excellent sensei....

No worries I will be shooting the G34 this year again. And I am designing
a Second place ( First Loser) trophy too..... it has a CZ75 on top of it.....

Was it just me, or did the rest of you here that solid, yet muffled thud of a kick to the groin?

I think I actually felt it.

That was no "muffled kick to the groin"....that was Tat2 trying to swallow that lump of FEAR he's got in his throat, knowing the "Cz Day of Reckoning" is a comin'!

That CZ is a 9mm correct?
I just need to know so I can bring extra ammo for when I shoot it.
