Muzzle devices for 16" FAL

Hi everyone, long time lurker, first time making my own thread.

Just got a 16" DSA FAL off GB at a great price although I might have preferred the 18" (we don't need to discuss that). I'm not really concerned about velocity since I wouldn't plan on engaging past about 400 yards. I am concerned about noise and muzzle blast though, which many folks say is increased with a 16" barrel.

Any advice on choice of a muzzle device? Top priority is flash elimination (not reduction), followed by reduction in muzzle flip. Not looking to create a ton of blast, but a minor increase is acceptable. Have heard good things about devices from MWS and others that address flash and flip without a big increase in blast or noise. Vortex or Phantom are also looking good to me (is the Vortex worth it, vs the YHM?)

What would you guys recommend? The rifle is already modified past historical spec, so I don't really care about keeping the short Belgian because it is correct for the time period of use.
