According to my past personal visual estimation ... somebody's got to be sitting on a big pile of them, but it appears I'm wrong.

Cut ALL tax rates personal and business to 11%, abolish all unconstitutional federal agencies. It'll hurt but it would help us as a country. |

One of the coolest b-day presents ever came from there.
My girlfriend said, "I bought you a Polish AK kit for your birthday. Building guns is way cheaper than building cars... " She was correct and wrong at the same time. |

Murph,
I recall a few ladies (young ladies) calling to buy kits for their others. They would always say the same thing to me over the phone, ... "Sir, I have NO IDEA what I am doing!" I would always reply, ... "Ma'am, you may not know about "AK kits", but I think you know EXACTLY what you are DOING!" ![]() PS, ... I double checked "The Best of The Best" kits for one that was DOUBLE FLAWLESS when the ladies called, ... Ole Bob knew what was on the line. |

Well, I'm glad I bought as many as I did. I'm finally getting one end of the shop formally equipped to build the last half-dozen AK kits, production-style, so I can finally earn my Bulgarian Armorer's Merit Badge. Wish I'd bought a couple dozen FAL kits now, too. All I need is MORE GUNS . . .

FZ chimes in
Bob:
JF from Reno NV chiming in. Hope that U remember me. I keep coming here once every 2 months or so with the hope of seeing that “something” is going on again…but alas the glory days are gone and not likely to come back. Only thing we have now is crappy barrel-less kits and even crappier US barrels to buy for them. Needless to say every kit I own has long since been built and many of them came from you. I say this – Bob W. provided the means to dream machines! Hail the glory days and I hope UR present day is treating you well. Hope the family is OK, by now UR son is probably almost done with school out west – you been almost 2 years since we last spoke. I believe our last conversation revolved around some rpk 74 stuff. Anyhoo…hope U are well. The best always, Fault Zone

John,
Of course I remember you! All is well here, the family is excellent, and the Son you speak of had already finished school back here. It was two years ago that I transported him, his brand new car and his belongings to Laguna Beach in SoCal where he started his career. He is doing just fabish-ulous in his learned craft. He even shoots regularly at the local range. Yes, the glory days have past and all I see now is rehash and rebarrel. It was a wild ride while it lasted , but all things good usually come to an end. Bla-blah-blah! We can also say, what goes around COMES around. Things have a way of coming square in the long run and we all usually get what we deserve in the end. I have been blessed by my association with the members of this board. I owe debt of gratitude to The FAL Files and AK Files membership. Good people! Take care my friend, the best to you and yours, and as always, ... good shooting! Bob |

I just had one of the old top-grade PMKMS kits pro-built and gave it to my boy, who is home on leave from his second tour in Iraq. He glommed onto it like a pair of vice grips, and posted photos of it on his Facebook account-- now all the guys in his squad are yelling "No fair!"-- they're jealous as hell. I think it was a success. Thanks again, Bob-- you made a serviceman (and his dad) very happy this weekend.

Thanks gentlemen. It was merely a hobby that turned into business, but I always treated people as I wished to be treated myself. That attitude included only selling "keeper grade" stuff.
It was fun, ...
