This Year's Northern Pike
Caught and released this 45" northern pike in Western Ontario. Biggest one I've ever caught. Having a replica made.
Nungesser Lake, big red/white Daredevil. Sunny and calm evening over a weedbed. ![]()

Very nice pike!
I love pike fishing. To me it's the most exotic fish in North America (growing up in South Africa). Never caught one this big, but lost a big one fishing up at 1000 Islands one year. My favoriite lure is the chartreuse Little Cleo, but had good luck with Red Devils as well. |

Very nice! Used to make annual trips with some guys I grew up with. In addition to spoons, we used Rapala rainbow trout original minnows. I still have a couple in my tackle box with bite marks all over them.
