Another headspace question
Finished barreling my para barrel to my Imbel logo recv'r ( 03 ). Closes on .256 pin won't close on No-Go guage .Also closes with the two thumb on a .258. Won't close on the NO-Go. I admit it ok , not real smart with this set back thing and the math. Anybody know what size locking shoulder I should use.?

2 thumbs on a .258 pin
.258 -.002"( if you are using a forster 1.630" go-guage)+.001" (for setback) = .257 LS .259 LS if you are using a Clymer 1.632" go-guage. NOTE: Remember to subtract another .002" if you use a Vanden Berg LS---!

Locking shoulders
Thanks dougjones 31,
It's nice to know when you get something right. Thats what I thought .257. Just checking in with the more seasoned veterans out there . By the way , using the forrester guages and fn locking shoulders. To the spare parts bin I go , looking for the right size locking shoulder. I hope I don't wind up filing one down ! R.Webster
