Bore good? bad?

Is there any other way, or better ways to check rifle bores for ware than just visual inspections?

Borescope and pulloever, or air-gauge.

Visual:
- shiny, lands and grooves sharp/clearly defined
- tight muzzle
- no frost or pitting
- good chamber cast

These techniques provide good indications
