Barrel I.D. And approximate value?
A friend from another board knew I am into FALs and mentioned he's had a barrel in storage since the mid 90's or so and figures it's about time to find it a home. I know nearly nothing about inch stuff so figure I'll ask here.
He says it's chrome lined, nice bore, threaded for hider with a cruddy looking exterior finish. This is what's stamped on it: "There's an (S1), *on the chamber end between the flats, *a Crown on the top if front of the top flat. *25/CF is on the chamber end too. *Very very small. * **B 61 960-2006 is on the side of the barrel, and 960-2266 with (B 61) underneath it on the front sight assembly. * ***CF D 74 with an arrow behind it is stamped upside down on the gas tube, with a triangle behind that." Lemme know what you guys think and if anyone would be interested. |

Sounds like a nice Brit. with matching Gas Block, Birmingham Small Arms 1961. Chromed chamber, not sure about the bore, don't think so.
CF is Corby Foundry. Is the length 21" SWAG is $200 to $250. Dang, wish it was an Enfield!

Same... Chrome chamber only. Run of the mill Brit barrel.
