Are there any Type II SRA or just SR lowers without serial numbers?
Are there any SRA or SR marked Type II lowers out there that don't have any serial numbers? The only ones I've seen are attached to pre ban FNs and taking one of those apart for project just doesn't seem cost effective. LOL
If they are out there what would the going rate be? I can't do much about it now but I'm looking to do a type II in the near future and I'm trying to get an idea of what can or can't be done and what it would cost. Thanks, Charlie

I've considered that. I also thought about having one of the NOS para lowers changed into a standard but it seems like going the long way around.

You have to replace entire locking block/sight base aka recoil plate because of the stand off cut.

Yeah.... Like I said, the long way around. I'm really hoping to find one that I won't have to alter. Anyone have one in there stash?

The un-numbered, Imbel, is the only SRA lower I'm aware that can be occasionally found. Have to be converted to type 2 though.
If the lower is to be painted, there are some S. Af lowers that were lightly etched w/ RA or ZA numbers. Not heavily hand engraved.
