Question on Trilux LED illuminator - batteries?

Hi -

I bought a Trilux from a friend with the LED immuminator, but no battery. What size battery(ies) does it take? It appears to take a 357 but it will not illuminate. I checked the LED with a meter and it appears it should be in working order otherwise.

Thanks in advance. Any other info you can supply to this Trilux newbie is appreciated.

As per MJS International Manf of the L2A2-LED ; "The batterys must be installed with the numbers facing up for correct polarity. When replacing the battery be sure to use Silver-oxide types for longest battery life. (#357 works best!) Caution!!! Removing the LED or the silicone compounds will destroy the Unit."
