ANY NEWS DSA Rep on 1.5 Receiver
Hello Mr DSARep,
You mentioned late last year that you would be releasing some form of Rhodie model with the correct 1.5 type of receiver. You also stated that the receivers would be availble seperately. Is there any news on the timing of this release? Not in a hurry, just want to work out a plan of how to proceed with making a clone. Many thanks, Cheers, Johnno |

What? I hadn't heard this rumor. If DSA comes out with a South African Type receiver, I'll be in!

DSA disappeared once WEG posted the negative review of the new and improved 20 mags. Have better luck calling.

I dont see myself ever buying another DSA receiver no matter what profile it has until they sort out their QC problems with the locking shoulder diameter and their out of spec ejector block issue.
The last 3 DSA receivers I got I have had to scrap their ejector blocks and put in original ones due to the hole for the bolt stop/mag release wasn't even close. DSA has lost all their credibility with me. I am very sad to say that. But it is what it is. Any rumors of them making a type 1.5, Hell, I doubt it.

I ordered a receiver (Type II) during the receiver sale, and as far as I can tell, it's a nice one. It assembled easily and headspaced nicely. Good receiver, shipped quickly. I have issues with other parts from them, but my receiver seems to be a good one.

I would do the same thing. Their ejector blocks are MIMed. I modified a full auto and replaced the one from DSA.
