FAL decals/bumper stickers ???

Just a heads up as to the FAL decals that were sold!

As you all know we had a few different ideas as to the design of the decals. Well honestly as I mentioned in the post, since the design used was the one I personally liked best, doesn't mean it was the design liked best by everyone.

Now is the chance for YOU to post an idea of your OWN FAVORITE design! Maybe we could take a vote and select the top 3 to 5, once a winner is selected we could send that design to the press.

How about this......the person that submits the WINNING design will receive 5 FREE DECALS

Below is pretty much just a repeat but what I posted on the MP ad that was finalized today!

Since there were other ideas about what certain people wanted......IF there is other designs that someone would like, forward them to me, OR post them up and we will take the 2 or 3 most popular and take a vote and have them printed providing there is enough to cover expenses. Maybe I will place this in the FN files section??? Since there is not an actual item for sale at this time, it should not be posted in the MP causing unnecessary clutter!

eurostyle vehicle white oval with the FN script logo would be bad ass. Additionally, same oval with the Imbel gear logo, or the same with F.M.A.P in it.

I put the bolt face decals of each of the rifles I build on the back window of my Jeep. At first the guys at work noticed but didn't say anything then as they started being added the questions started. One they knew what they represented the questions turned to "what's the next one going to be?" line.

Pardon the crudity....

That would look cool, I am not sure we would get enough detail on an oval decal to know the difference between a L1A1 or a metric. BUT if someone will send a pic I can see what we can come up with. Sounds like a good one to put on a voters poll!!

Oh, not meaning to get wrapped around the axle on physical detail- I was only suggesting basic design in a Commonwealth style. I defer on the artwork!

For a bumper sticker I would go with an image of a short gas Para and something along the lines of,

Short gas, How the F.A.L. should have been, in red underneath the rifle image.

That's right I am poking fun at the purists and the tacticool folks. But it's all just for fun because I have yet to see an SLR, F1, L1A1, FN FAL whatever I didnt like!

I'm thinking a stylized world globe or world map background with a FAL silhouette superimposed, and the "Right Arm of the Free World" either underneath or wrapped around the graphic.

I told Chris that I thought he said decals showed a full-auto FAL if you fanned them, a la 1897 Win. He told me--I'm making this up--that I needed a bigger stack than 4 to make it work. Go figure.
If he can get a full-auto in the backgroud, I'll buy 6 next time. See ya round the campfire. mw

Also just to note: If someone can get a good pic of three L1A1's standing such as mentioned in the couple post above, I could use that to be submitted for a decal as well. I sure as heck can't draw one.....unless ya just want 3 lines drawn LOL!!

I am going to work on the Globe pic with the FAL (PARA) maybe superimposed. I like that idea and and maybe a red outline on the OVAL????

+1. I think that would look good, and only the real FAL fans would know what it was. I'm not real big on advertising that I'm into guns or that there might be some of them in my car, but I like the idea of a subtle FN logo.

Excuse my terrible rendition... I don't have any art programs, other than Paint... haha...

Obviously with a nice strong, bold font and a proper FAL in the center.

Some other options:

- Two FAL's, crossed in the middle, making an X
- Two FAL's, one above, one below - one could be a standard 50.00, and the second, maybe an 18" barrel + Para stock (50.63?)

I think the "Right Arm of the Free World" text is mandatory!!! A factually correct and badass tag line

W.E.G. Posted this one in a different thread, I do NOT care for the circle BUT I think this is pretty cool if it were in an OVAL.....

Again, I think we should try and get 5 designs, so if you guys want to start submitting as design 1 thru 5 we will then do a poll from that!

Ianmor, are you talking about the sticker below? It has the "CHROME" backing but it would also work with WHITE backing, and maybe FAL below the FN logo?

Just throwing a few more ideas out there......

TPlace I will check on that and even include that on a poll, my only concern is with TINTED windows.......I know in my trucks you would NOT be able to see the decals..........opinions may vary we will see.....THANK YOU for your thoughts

Notwithstanding his flip-card-version being a hoax (I mean, my imagination), I expect Chris will come up with a winner. As it stands, my vote is for WEG's design in an oval. My uninspired , but thinking the stylized mercator projection with a FAL silouette overlay is a hard-chromed second. My .02 mm
