...at GOODWILL!
I'm just ribbing ya. Not sure if you guys wore these in Korea. I know they did in the Pacific Theatre during WW2. ![]() ![]() ![]() I couldn't believe what i was seeing on the rack...Had to put on my specks to make sure I wasn't dreaming. I snagged them... They have the baggiest butt I've ever seen in a pair of trousers. These are abour 34" waist,28 or so inseam. Just a tad small for me. |

Baggy was probably appreciated when it was a 108 F out with incredible humidity and you had the trots from a mild case of dysentary or some other nasty malady.
I'm thinking that herringbone twill wasn't too cool like the modern ripstop is. Great snag of Marine corps history though. I wish I still had my dad's shelter half poncho that had the same reversable camo pattern. |
