Tanfoglio firing pin and block reinstallation, need help

Take out firing pin of my Tanfoglio to polish the block and cleaning. It is very difficult to put it back. Any trick? It is an Armscore Rock Islanland MAP1, 9mm. Should be the same as EAA Witness. The flat side of the pin should be facing top of the slide to position the notch on the pin to the right facing the block correct? I have a hard time to get the pin pass the block. Thanks.

Found a Yutube video on Witness. Exactly the same gun. I had the flat side wrong. Should face ejector instead of top side. The picture on manual look like facing top. Got it done now. Thanks.
