Does this make sense....?
I have a DSA L1A1 receiver but no parts kit. I have lots of metric kits but not quite enough receivers. Would it be possible and/or wise to buy a L1A1 with a metric receiver and swap it all around? I guess the scenario I'm looking at is buying a century NGL imbel L1A1 (sporter stock) and then using the parts for an L1A1 with the DSA and the NGL rec. for a beater metric build.
any thoughts? Thanks |

Entirely possible!
Wise? It's a hobby, wisdom doesn't apply here. Great idea! Sounds like something I'd do. Don't let 'em talk you into a swap, you'd only end up with one Fal that way!

I have traded 2 metric kits away and I still cry a little bit when I think about it. Plus if I trade another kit, I won't officially have "lots" of kits.
Thanks for the support though. Is an inch barrel modified when used in a metric receiver? |
