I think if folks actually read the first three pages of summary material in the opinion, that 86% "yes" vote would plummet.

The court was only ruling on the issue of the D.C. gun ban being constitutional, or not. They ruled it was unconstitutional, because it was too restrictive. They were not required to rule on any other aspect. They ruled that the Second Amendment protects an individual right, not the militia, collective right. This means that all restictive regulations other than the outright banning are up for grabs and will have to be fought as they occur. This is what the gun grabbers were hoping for. Undoubtedly, Chicago is going to have to revise their laws as well.

For all the education these people have, they sure are lacking in common sense and the ability to comprehend simple statements.

Since we are all part of the militia, then it is obvious the people should be able to own any weapon of war and the restriction is on the fed, not the people but I guess a lawyer can understand the many words that are not visible in the Constitution that the rest of us cannot see.
