Looking for a belt buckle knife
It looks like a regular buckle that when you take it out, its a push knife, not a folder.

Bowen belt knife? That's what came to my mind when I thought about a push-dagger buckle knife.

Welcome. If you get one, it would be cool if you could share a review of it with the group. The Bowen blade looks really interesting.

I bought one of Bowen's double edged belt/buckles back in the late seventies. Worked quite well as a belt and as a weapon. Hardly useful as a tool for anything less than an emergency. Not many people would risk getting popped in the chops while someone had one clenched in their fist. Had a nasty habit of separating from the belt and clanging to the floor when I would visit the throne room.
Was quite a hit with the guys I worked with. So much so that it sparked a flurry of copy-cat knife making. Still have it after all these years, although tucked away in the back of some drawer. The darn belt kept shrinking after I bought it and it no longer fits... Jake Last edited by Jurassic Jake; January 24, 2008 at 00:29. |
