Any gun/CCW issues in Branson, MO?

We have lived in NE OK for 15 years now. We are only about 2.5 hours from Branson, MO. Every time Branson gets mentioned around the Tulsa area people tell you that they go every year. Or twice a year. The wife and two children have worn me down and we are going this month. Not really my type of place (or music) but it sounds like a fun mini-family vacation.

So I know my OK CCW is valid in MO. I'm planning on carrying my normal gun while I'm there. But are there any special problems, restrictions, or places where I have to go through a metal detector?

I live about 20 miles north of branson in ozark and also teach the ccw course for mo. the only issue you might watch for is if a private buisness is posted for no firearms, being private property, they have a right to refuse you entry if caught. Other than that I think you will be allright. Im not sure if they have city ordinances against carrying but I think if I were you, I would check with the city of bransos first. Also, if you go you must plan a day at school of the ozarks museum. They have a very impresive firearms museum with many firearms from around the world, They also have many other items down to the beverly hillbillies truck. Equipped with grannys rocking chair to jed clampetts shotgun. Anthony.
