Gun ID Question

I can't post pictures..yet...but check this link, in the photo (which is from a CNN story about some columbian drug lord recently arrested), I saw a rifle that I could NOT ID-looks pretty futuristic. Anyone have an idea as to what it could be?

BTW it's ColOmbian. My wife was born in Bucaramunga, as was her mother and her farther was born in Bogata.
