Standard stock on upper with para BC & springs

Maybe a dumb question, I am wanting convert an existing upper into a para upper (ie put the para bolt carrier and spring assembly into an existing built up upper/ front end) using a Grenadier precision top cover. I have a few questions...

I will check the headspace after installing the new BC and springs, but should I expect for the headspace to change if I use the same bolt?

Will I still be able to mate my regular stocked lower to this upper?
I know this sounds crazy, but I want to build a dedicated upper/front end when the funds are available for a DSA type II receiver. In the interim, it would be nice to be able to swap lowers on the para upper.

For the money you would spend, just buy the parts for two complete rifles, a para and a "normal" FAL. Besides, from what i can determine in my current Para build, the lower is not wuite the same as a regular lower. The regular lower would need modification also.
