Tech: Stripper Clip Lube

I found this on another board and think i will give it a try. What do you think?

Aussie Stripper Clip Lube
All the Aussie is great and comes on stripper clips. That being said it has sat on those stripers for years. The strippers have some kind of rough phosphate finish whic makes the cartridges hard to feed into the mags. I read someplace how to lube them and finally found it again. Take the empty stripper and rub cold parrifin wax on the bearing surfaces, wipe off the excess. Works like a dream, kinda smoothes the rough edges and over time as the phosphate smooths out is no longer necessary. It's the little things that make the big things easy.

It sure sounds like it would work, but would be lots of effort to get a bunch done.

The Aussie loaders work very well for me. I take the loaded stripper and tap it on a hard surface first, to break the friction, or sometimes I spin the first two or three rounds a half turn or so with my fingers.

make sure it's a dry lube, that will not kill the primers...

Parafin wax will work fine. Just takes a little bit.
