Am I WECSOG Qualified Now?
After years of do it yourself gunhack... I mean, gunsmithing, I think I finally made the big time. I've never liked the cheesy pin that retains the bolt hold open on my Romak-3 rifle, so I decided to drill the hole out for a roll pin. It's a tough angle, so I was using a drill bit in a pin chuck. I had my finger a little too close when the bit gave way. On the upside, the broken part of the drill is in there so tight, I don't need a roll pin.

That's an after cleanup picture. the bit went in for a good 1/4" and broke thru the nail. Bled like the dickens for a while.

Yep, I just gave blood for the first time last week. I was assembling my AMD '65 and while I was fitting the rear trunion into the receiver, I had the stock in the open position without the locking lug in; and well I was pushing on the butt stock, quite hard, when it decided to fold on me. The stock and receiver pivoted up smacking me in my chin splitting it open. Maybe should have gotten stiches but without any insurance until Sept. I just super glued it back together!
Give blood, WECSOG a rifle today! KILO OUT

Sweat and hard work don't mean much unless you bleed a little too. Good job!
