huh? belgian FAL receiver?
whats going on wth that? Is that a semi somebody tore down, and sold the parts to? The receiver seems to be in pretty rough shape - rust in the carry handle slot and not a lot of finish - could it be an illegal sear cut? I've never seen an FN receiver for sale before, separately anyway. Did they ever import stripped receivers?

From the machine work in the "hole", it looks sear cut to me! A real Belgian type 2...but from France
I'd pass. 'Sides, how ya gonna get it in country; sear cut aside?????Best, Paul

Yup, it's in France, thus not importable for civillian useage.
I think from his comment that the receiver is not the "controlled" part in France. Seems like I remember reading something about barrels being the restricted parts in some European country. Maybe it WAS France. Possibly one of our European Members would be familiar with the French laws.

didn't catch that he was in france
in britain, barrels and bolts are the controlled items. now doesn't that suck? Shoot out your barrel and you're out a rifle...
