Witness holes are a good place for dirt to get into the magazine. I don't want them. I don't know if P-Mag has a patent on the mag window, but they are not the first to do it. From this thread started by Paco-

That magazine is an experimental 25 round mag. They were tested begin 1970. The great thing is that they have a window on the other side. The compressed mag spring is painted red and indicates in the window how much ammo is left.
Where do you think the P mags got there ideas from
