View Full Version : Need info on Izzy light bbl. buttstocks

I'm about to purchase an Izzy light bbl. buttstock to match some Izzy HB handguards. They'll be going on my Stg kit gun. I'm wanting to know how well it'd fit to an Stg lower rec' & if it's got the same profile as a regular humpbacked stock.

Anyone got this kind of set-up? Does the metal butt-plate increase the felt recoil over the Stg rubber butt-pad?

Any info is greatly appreciated,

Yep, will work fine. I did the same thing on a Izzy FALO-C that I had Gunplumber build up. Wanted a light barrel butt to do away w/ the flip up buttplate since this was gonna be a carbine. Fit and worked fine. Recoil was not noticably harsher to me...

I have one on my DSA carbine and it is great. The stock matched up, and looks good too.

The overall profile of the Izzy LB stocks is slighty different on the underside only. Also the Izzy is shorter by about 3/4 inch. This is in comparrison to the G1.
