Is 11:30 overtimed?

Just got my coonan in about 20 minutes ago. I hand timed the barrel to 11:30! I torqued it down to about 12:00 with one arm.
Smiths: Do you consider this overtimed?

hopefully i'll get my film developed and i'll review the DCI receiver this week.

It's timed correctly but under torqued. You can peen the shoulder or buy some shims from Gunthings.

Could also verify timing to TDC, witness mark the barrel and receiver, disassemble, degrease, and reassemble with locktite.

Sounds familiar. Mine did the same thing. I went the shim route. Cost is $7 from Gunthings, plus shipping. I used the 0.002-thick one. Easy to install, then trim the excess with a utility knife. Final analysis, probably not worth the bother. I would peen the shoulder next time it happens. I just had this "thing" about peening the shoulder on what looks like a brand-new G-1 barrel.
