Bug Out Bag, or BOB is a generic term for the supplies and equipment you would want/need to have ready to go if you had to leave your current location RIGHT NOW and wouldn't be returning for an extended period of time.

I have seen simple ones that consist of a couple of MREs and some cash all the way up to small trailers with generator, camping/cooking equipment, fuel, food, etc. for a month or two.

Some people have just enough to get to a specific location where they will hunker down. Others have waht they believe will allow them live on the run until no longer necessary.

This topic is the subject of a LOT of discussion and even arguments in TEOTWAKI (The End Of The World As We Know It) circles.

Good luck,

This bag will keep out most bugs.

Use two (and maybe some duct tape) if entering known hostile territory.

Oh my, I'm having Y2K flashbacks!:uhoh:

Actually, we're in good shape in that I've kept up the 'hurricane' (homeland defense?) shelf.

I'm out of duct tape for Gary's de-bugger. My neighbor just used the last of it to seal his 13 yo daughter in her room!;) ;)
