Interchangeability:Izzy HB with G1 Kit

Can the G1 gas system (gas block, gas plug, gas piston, gas tube) be used with the stripped Izzy HB? I have izzy HGs. Have a nice HB I can't let go to waste.

No, sorry.

At a minimum, to put a Izzy HB on a std metric kit you need:

HB Barrel and gas block
Front sight & spring
Gas plug
Gas piston
Gas tube
Handguards
HB size H-grd retaining ring
Std barrel tall rear sight aperture.

There always exceptions such as no sights if using a scope, custom H-grds, etc.
