I have a rifle and am not sure if it is inch or metric! Help please........
Markings are:
CAI
St. Albans, VT
L1A1 Sporter
Ser # 960-2302-B60 on charging handle
It displays characteristics of both an inch and metric rifle and I need to know which it is as I am ordering a wood replacement stock set.
Here is what I know:
It has a fold down charging handle (inch?)
The front of the upper receiver has a "cut back" in the channel of the charging handle to allow it to fold down (inch?)
The cut in the mag well is small (metric?)
It uses metric mags
There are cut outs on the rear of the upper receiver(inch)
There is a single tang on the lower receiver and the back of the lower receiver is NOT straight cut (inch?)
The upper handguard has 2 vent holes instead of 3 (inch?)
Help! So, what do I have to order, an inch set or a metric set? Any help would be most appreciated asap. Thanks.
