ok here goes

I have a friend who GAVE me an israeli Heavy barrel stock and handguards...I know the stock fits nice and snug,but will the handguards fit a FAL Imbel barrel assy snug or be all sloppy and HOW do the mount. I have examined the small pieces I have and cant for the life of me figure how they sit in the reciever end of the barrel...

one last thing. TAPCO aint got it,but I need a screw for the handguards,any Ideas if I am crazy of just st00pid :)

aint life a bitch like that.....3 minutes after my post I found what I was looking for....YES the HB Handguards will work,with some modifications via a dremel...........

anyone know where I might locate some light barrel handguards,my hands a quite jerky ,or maybe swap me for my HB guards?

Izzy LB handguards are very difficult to find. What I did was I shaped mine using a hammer and anvil (used to do a lot of metal shaping for armor). You need to do this gently because it will make the handguards want to unbend. Just a touch of material will need to be taken off of the corners so that the handguards will fit together.

Another option would be to get a heavy barrel hand guard retaining ring and replace your retaining ring.
