Jen
I noticed a couple days ago that everytime(almost everytime) I go to the Fal Files I had to log in again. A little while ago(after I logged in again) I was jumping around on the board and went from Marketplace to General Disscusion and all the folders were marked as if I had seen them? I checked the who's online section and I wasn't listed. Then I got offline and got back on again and I had to login on the Fal Files again? Is it just me?
Thanks
FXE

Fortunately I do know the answer.. Cookies. In most cases it may be a corrupted cookie file which is resolved by finding the cookie(s) set by falfiles.com in your temporary internet files folder and manually deleting them. Optionally it could be your hard drive is full and can't write the cookie or you're not accepting the cookies from the site. Similar problems have also occured for users who have their JavaScript turned off. JS is used in conjunction with your cookies to keep the nifty folders highlighted and such so you can see which topics are new, old and which you have posted to.

The Moral of the story is.. Check your Cookies and cookie settings :shades:

Jen
I'll try deleting the falfiles and/or L1a1 cookies and starting over. Everything else should be OK, Hardrive space, cookies settings, etc... it's always worked before and I've changed nothing lately.
Thanks again FXE

Me three. I've deleted cookies 4-5 times in the past couple weeks. I've removed all temporary files(internet), restarted, started over and and cleaned everything I could find.

Also, many times when I go from thread to thread, the dates kick back to days previous as the newest. Dates as far back as 3-4 previous will show up on all topics.

I've done everything you've said, many moons ago. I regularly dump my Temp. Internet files, my hard drive still has 35gigs of free memory and my JavaScript is set right. It's a flaw in the software somewhere. This has been happening to me since you converted over to this new system.
I don't really think it's too big of a deal, but just thought you ought to know.

Jen it's not really a Big Deal, but I thought you like to know.

AOL 6.0 Browser and/or IE 5.5 (it seems to happen with both, I'm not really jumping back and forth from one to the other, if I'm using one I use that one.)

Windows 95

AOL

Thanks Again
