mpl897 u cannot post pics from your local hard drive they must be on the web somewhere there are several free hosting sites that will host them for you none verry good but they work

exaple http://www.mpl897.com/files/FAL.jpg and then add the image tags as u have

Did you use the "Attach file" option (below the TEXT box and above the SUBMIT box) to add your image; or did
you type in the information? I just tested the "Attach file" with a picture from my hard disk and it worked. Good luck.

cool, on another forum I frequent (http://www.amdmb.com/vb/index.php) that uses the same software U could not attach images this will be verry nice, sorry for the bad info :o

Still trying to figure this stuff out picts.posting easy for some but maybe I need a computer course..if I see a pict on the computer
and I right click it "save as" say ...gun pict1...on "my picts"then it would be:

please disregard my first post, U can upload a pic from your computer to this web site

make a post and at the bottom of the post writing screan the is an attach file area click on the brouse button and go to where to pic is on your computer and click on it then submit the post

You can not link a file from your local computer (ie c:\my documents...) using the URL tag, you can only use the URL tag if you have a complete working URL that can be pasted into a browser window to bring up the content you want to show.. while c:\my documents\whatever will bring up something, it's not on the internet so it's not going to be seen if you try to use the URL tag to link to it.

If you want to upload an image, use the attach file option below. You can attach images that way directly to the board from your hard drive.

If you want to provide a link to another web page or to your images, then use the URL tag with a proper http:// link to your images / page that you want to link to.

GODERATOR.....Thanks for the help ..but still haveing trouble understanding the language of computers..will keep trying.
