FTF due to magazines.

I bought 2 "new" magazines from Tapco. They are in great shape, but when I took them to the range they both didn't feed correctly. The magazine that came with my FAL (m-444) works like a charm, but the new ones won't let a round chamber correctly.

I was thinking of dremeling the front edge of the magazine a little, as this fixed a similar issue with my CZ-50. Any advice?

Hard to diagnose without a more detailed description of your FTF. Before you go "angry beaver" with the dremel, make darned sure you compare the feed lips of your Tapco mags with the mag that came with your M-444. If they look the same, don't touch 'em. Also, check the fit of the Tapco mags in the receiver. Could the mag springs be installed backwards?
