why should the tube on lower not be removed???:confused:

No reason to remove it for cleaning. You should make sure it is securely attached (threadlocker) when you put it together initially.

I would highly recommend taking it off upon initial cleaning/inspection of any used guns or kits. My G1 kit from Tapco (review soon) was absolutely caked with mud in the recoil tube/buttstock and some of the lower. The recoil tube and springs were severely rusted and need replaced. Would not have been able to see that without dissassembly.
Once you have a rifle squared away it would not be necessary to remove the tube.
