I would say yes. I had a doubling problem that kept coming back even when I changed the trigger, hammer, and sear. I put a longer/new sear spring in it and it went away.

Drove me nuts trying to figure it out though - I don't know why it took me so long to think of that!

Yes.
Sear 'forgets' to reset, and impact of the b/bc going forward trips the sear.
