View Full Version : ID this bolt and BC

Sorry for the poor pic quality, main camera is broken so I used the phone cam. Anyway.....

Won a G3 parts kit on GB, not sure of origin, except it is not HK.

The bolthead is marked 11/68 and BA, both of which can be (barely) seen in the pic.

BC is marked 4, and CS. No other markings visible on any other parts.

Any ideas of where it came from?

The date on the bolt looks to be the correct font for a HK bolt.

I'm thinking Pakistan Ordnance Factory. It's in the correct time period

Surplus rifles/parts that are sold to other countries usually will have the mfg. info scrubbed. I agree with SAFN49 on the bolt head that it's HK.

The CS stamp on the back is similar to the CXA, CWA and WTA markings that I've seen. To the best of my knowledge and what I've read these markings are believed to be inspector stamps. Origin?

I may be misunderstanding that to be a question, but I have no idea. Won it as a kit on GB. I'll be happy if it is HK though ;).

Sorry, I see what I did.
Origin? Was referring to any of the carriers that I've seen marked on the back with letters is that I don't know where those are from.

The bolt is HK. The HK marks have been removed by shallow milling (the groove in front of the date). IDK about the carrier markings.
