Great price for a quality lower but, if I buy/build another AR I'll be looking for lodging somewhere else.:)

My wife has said no more gun vaults at house for moment. About to put second at work and it will be hidden. She knows still building but not exact numbers. It's silly at this point and keep threatening to quit but paying $25 for Anderson lowers and $33 for billet magnesium still. It's the $200 to $400 barrels and $300 to $900 scopes that are the killers. Otherwise can build iron sight rifles with $79 barrels for $250 or less.

Guess I missed it. I was going to be in the area and could pick them up. Were these the closed ear?

I'm running out of creativity for more builds. Anyone got suggestions? Got a colt 6920, got a side charger, got a 7.62x39 pistol.

6.8, 6.5, 300BO, .22... what slots are open in the tool box?

Midway has 22 Nosler side charger complete upper with free float forearm on sale for $279. Almost bought one but already have four complete Nosler builds, spare barrel for my AR Stoner build and caught myself looking at a 6mm-22 Nosler chamber reamer. Other option is neck down 6.8 spc II to 6mm. Both have approximately 25% case capacity over 5.56. Read a very technical article saying if neck up small amount don't lose velocity linear as bigger bullet though heavier has more surface area for propellant to push against so velocity drop is less than expect. Been wanting a 6mm AR for a long time and both options have reamers and dies available. Said would never do another AR wildcat but over two dozen 5.56 builds, over a dozen 6.8's, four 22 Nosler and pair of 5.7x28's.

Already looking at the White Oak Armament 24" 1:12 22 Nosler tube and have 19 barrels in stock. (Not counting five 18" 1:7 Palmetto stainless 5.56 bought on super sale and buried for end of world spares) Enough parts for 16 complete builds without so much as buying a spring or a pin. Only issue is wife said no more vaults. Have an office safe of 23 AR lowers and FAL uppers. Also a safe of uppers plus one full of bolt carrier groups, triggers, red dots, etc. If put together then have to buy gun safe so leaving in pieces till talk wife into another vault at home or slip another in at work. This is getting ridiculous but parts keep getting cheaper except good barrels. White Oaks are still $400 and Noveske $700 with Switchblock.

Was bummed about running out of H322 in middle of 6.8 spc II run so ordered and eight pound keg and was looking for something to do while waiting for it to ship and found two eight pound kegs of H322 in unopened box with other powder. Had three kegs of Varget and three of TAC but ordered two more of each to spread out HAZMAT on the H322 so looks like about to start huge run of 5.56 and 7.62 NATO when finish the 6.8. Was just a 7,800 round batch till discovered the extra H322 so now have enough powder with keg on way to load an additional 5,000+ rounds on top of the 6,900 loaded ready for packaging. This is getting crazy but no point in building rifles if don't have ammo for them.

Tore down pair of 204 Rivers, 20 Tactical and 300 BO's. Sold pair of 7.62 Wilson barrels before built them. So now it's time to wildcat as AR 10's are costly. Did four, have parts for two except barrels as can't decide on caliber. Nice AR 10 barrels cost as much as a nice bolt action rifle.

Ya I'm sort of interested in a 20 inch 6.5 Grendel build that is like an a1 fixed stock with vintage furniture. But I got a bunch of 308 ammo and bullets and no 6.5s so might just go for the ar 10

Just got my second batch from the last sale. All keyhole marked and actually look very well milled and finished. Three for $89.99, free transfer from my local shop makes it a great deal.
I bet they will run another sale for Black Friday. I'll be looking out.
