Dad wants a semi auto BAR and I don't have a clue as what to tell him. Any info is appreciated.

Ohio O is the only one that makes a copy (as far as I know), and it is VERY nice.

The OOW 1918a3 is a very well made and surprisingly accurate rifle. I have had one for several years and while it does not always get to the range as much as I like I have shot it considerably. It is heavy and as a result the recoil is minimal and the function and fit and finish is excellent. I haven't seen very many for sale lately and OOW is still not putting them out very quickly but they never really have. Mine is mostly Royal Mcbee Typewriter parts (marked ROT ) and the barrel is unmarked . She's a hoss but a real pleasure to shoot !:shades:

Oh man...Ohio Ordnance has a 'Financing' option.

I wonder what the going interest rate is on a $23,500 1918 Vickers gun...

OOWs business with modern arms for overseas has gone gangbusters. They sold off their 1919 stuff to Apex and are focusing on the current demand. Id not be surprised to see an exit from the collectors market including the BAR.
