Check out this ad, the guy really needs to put the pipe down while he is pricing stuff! What a BARGAIN! Only 2495.00 for a post ban G1 ! (http://www.gunbroker.com/auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=4303644)

June 18, 2002, 22:58
Hey Dan....
We are wealthy and didn't even know it.....

June 18, 2002, 23:19
Man, I think I will ask about $4500 for my post StG58 then. If you find out who buys it, have them email me.

June 18, 2002, 23:37
jeez ! all that and no mag or flashhider - such a deal !

June 19, 2002, 00:54
Sad part is that somebody will buy it in the spirit of Barnam . . .

June 19, 2002, 07:38
My Steyr import 50.00 must be worth at least $10,000 then. I'll expect your check shortly...

June 19, 2002, 09:24
I really liked the pitted looking top-cover...

June 19, 2002, 10:54
I have a R1 kit with a lightly pitted barrel for $700!

June 19, 2002, 11:15

"Gun will be shipped with new 5 round clip, not clip pictured. Flash hider is not included..."

He must not be much into firearms. He calls the mag a clip. Why is he sending it out with a 5 round mag? They cost three times as much as the surplus 20 he has on there now. Why is the flash hider not included? Hmmmm.... post ban with a verboten device hanging off the end? Isn't this picture incriminating evidence?

June 19, 2002, 11:15
How about this:

Rare -- Almost complete FAL rifle!!!
All original parts manufactured by various foreign arms factories including Fabrique National of Belgium, Fabrica Militar of Argentina and possibly Imbel of Brazil. All licensed and authorized manufacturers of the best self-loading 7.62 Battle Rifle. All preban. No upper receiver included but you can purchase those for very little money. Also missing locking sholuder which you really don't need to fire this once. I will throw in an extra barrel so you might even be able to make this a sniper rifle variant!!!! Price $790.

Any takers? I picked the price because it is exactly 10 times my cost of the Tapco missing parts kit.:D

And here is another one! I thought that the pain killers and muscle relaxers made me goofy, wonder what the hell this guy is on!Pre-Ban FAL L1A1 on Enterprise receiver, extra's! June 19, 2002, 12:07
Me thinks these guys are drinking and shooting heroin to go with there CRACK !!!! HE HE HE:D

June 19, 2002, 13:03
I think these guys share the crack pipe:

Crack Kills (click here) (http://www.gunbroker.com/auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=4323516)

Gun is worth maybe $2400 tops.

June 19, 2002, 18:55
His wife probably told him to sell it. This way, he can say, "Look honey, I tried to sell it but no one wanted to buy it. Guess I'll have to keep it and we'll just go see the parents for vacation instead of going to Barbados like I promised."

June 19, 2002, 19:06
Yeah, I offered to sell him a couple for $1200 ea. if he can get $2500 for them.

June 19, 2002, 21:10
I just wonder what the US parts are in that G1

June 19, 2002, 21:18
Cooter and Jimmy Ray try smoking crack. >>>> click (http://www.laughalittle.com/images/CrackSmokin.jpg)

June 19, 2002, 21:32
This is the same rifle from the same seller from 6/16/2002 on Gunbroker.com. Here's the original auction:

Here's the original thread:

m1shooter from this board apparently e-mailed the seller and asked him about the number of US parts in the rifle. Maybe that's why "JR SALES" took off the flash hider. In any case, the guy is not just smoking crack, he's mainlining it !!! :D

June 19, 2002, 21:38
Geez, we must not be gettin' the good sh*t up here in the mountains.

But maybe we could start calling the Graham, Gouger, and etc rifles Designer FALS . They oughta be worth 6 or 7 grand:D

Hey Dan,
I don't think it was the pain killers, I think this guy is guilty of being born stupid. I hope he thinks others are not inflicted with his disease, he is a loser. I hope no-one is as stupid as them. If so, we are stupid and are all sitting on fortunes. I hope Kfeltinberger is correct (and I hope THE SELLER'S wife is dumb as a rock), otherwise he is scum (probably is either way). And, I tend to believe that we FAL'ers are better than this. I believe in profit, but I believe in being fair. This guy may be on pain killers (AND AN IDIOT). He hopefully will eat the FAL (from the butt, or up it).

Corrected a typo...

June 19, 2002, 22:46
The sad thing is there might be some unsuspecting individual who thinks its the real thing and buys it.

June 19, 2002, 22:48
This dolt probably bought the gun at a show for about $1500, thinking he ripped the seller! Now he's trying to turn a profit.

Well he's back, but it looks like he might have switched to crack lites or something. At least it is priced a little bit closer to reality, still high (like the owner). Is it Crack or could it be Crank? (http://www.gunbroker.com/auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=4379914)

June 23, 2002, 23:16
I hate reserve auctions. They waste everyone's time getting to the reserve price, especially when the initial bid is $0.01. Is he hoping someone will bid some ridiculously high amount to meet the reserve? Good luck, JR SALES, you crackhead

Just freakin' list the lowest price you'll take as the initial bid without setting a reserve. If you get a bid, fine. If it's a decent item, you'll get people bidding against each other. If no one bids, then you need to put down your crack pipe and rethink your pricing.

I see too many of these idiotic reserve auctions with $0.01 starting bids. They're usually newbies with an "NR" rating wanting outrageous prices - there was someone wanting $1300 for a lightly rusted StG-58 kit on a Century Imbel. At least they were throwing in five magazines and 200 rounds of ammo :D

Rant off.

ATTENTION!!!!! FOR SALE>>>>>>> Izzy H.B. all there in good shape. only 1 million dollars.

Ah, but if it's a "Designer FAL", then that adds at least $250K to the starting price. Don't sell your HB short :p

By the way, our dear seller is now only smoking weed, the "Buy Now" price is now $895. There's no more mention of "pre-ban", either. However, he still is only offering the 5-round "clip", and he has to replace the flashider with something legit or have it cut and crowned. Plus he has the reserve auction with a starting bid of $0.01 (a pet peeve).

Before anyone gets on my case for making fun of this guy: OK, it's a free country, he can sell his goods for any damn price he pleases. However, I think we're equally free to point out the flaws in the goods and/or pricing, and not buy at all.

June 25, 2002, 01:10
I bid 1 dollar

June 25, 2002, 09:06
Just for fun I sent JR the following e-mail last night and have not got a response back yet

What US parts were used in the manufacture of this rifle? If the flashider is
not included, will another muzzel attatchment be included, or will the threads
be left bare?

June 25, 2002, 11:52
Uh oh, withergyld and blackamos in a bidding war! Who'll be first to break the $2.00 barrier for this fine rifle? :D

June 25, 2002, 12:15
I'll bid $2 and throw in a some dried toads and deer penis'..............penises? penie???.......................hehehehhehehehe:D

June 25, 2002, 18:19
come on you guys....... 2 dollars? THAT is way to much.:D I bid two bits, and a decoder ring that I got from a box of cracker ja....er I mean was given to me by my great uncle who was in the CIA. Yeah, that's IT! :p

June 25, 2002, 20:51
This is the reply I got back form the seller:
U.S. parts include: Gas tube, gas plunger, 5 round clip (counts as 3)and front hand guard. The flash hide will be included, but is not part of the auction. That makes up the 6 U.S.parts.
Anyone else see anything wrong with this parts count?
The hanguards look metal to me, anyone know where I can get US made metal hanguards?
