View Full Version : Marks on a Type C Walnut Buttstock?

Picked up this very crisp buttstock but I cannot recall seeing the two letter cipher stamp on the top ridge. There are two stamps on the underside also that I have not seen before.

Any ideas? Was sold as a Steyr but I suspect Belgian.

Belgian. Rare bird you have there. My rifle in the MP has the same marking. I have owned 2 over the years. Mine is here:

Thanks! I thought it was Belgian too. I've not seen a Steyr wood stock so I couldn't tell. I have a wood stock with an eagle stamp on the tang which I think is from a BGS but don't know that for certain either.
